"Noticed several things right out of the box:

  ​The product feels very sturdy
  The single wheel design makes you focus on balance
  The wheel seems of high quality - should last a long
  The handles diameter and length are perfect 

As for the first experience in using it, I ​decided to do 10 reps of 10 from the knees to kick things off

  Started with the traditional grip for first set 
  the single wheel design made me focus more on balance, but once again the product felt sturdy
  Second set I went with the long neutral grip position 
  could immediately feel the difference in both the abs / triceps / and lats
  Third set I went with the side neutral position 
  this grip position started to really fire up my entire torso
  ​Forth set I decided I would go for the long vertical neutral grip position
  immediately upon turning the handles up at the end of the extension, I could feel my abs kick in      at another level...

So I decided to finish the last six sets using the long vertical neutral grip position... and I can say by the tenth set, my body was feeling the difference... 

I can definitely say, this is apart of my workout regiment.. will check back with you after 6 weeks of usage."

"Thank you once again for letting me use your product. First off the construction of extremeabarmwheel was top of the line, strong, sturdy and built to last a life time. I used the wheel 4 days a week for 4 weeks straight. I felt immediate results in my tricep region. The isometric training that I was getting from being able to stabilize myself on the wheel was giving my arms a great burn. The second place I felt the burn was the lower abdominal. While in the fully extended position the lower abs are targeted and stressed, this is crucial because for any of us who have ever worked out before, we all know the lower abs are a muscle group that is very hard to hit!

I started out being able to do about 15-20 consecutive roll outs the first week or so. I eventually worked my way up to about 30-35 roll outs at a time. I supplemented my regular gym workouts with 40 roll outs a night total. The roll out definitely made a noticeable difference in my frontal shoulders, tricep and brachial strength as well as giving me a great abdominal burn! It was easy on the back and shoulders due to its innovated pronate grip that other ab wheels don't posses.

"I was fortunate enough to use the EXTREME AB WHEEL, and although I have tried ab wheels in the past, I was skeptical when I took this one out of the box. Right out of the box, the EXTREME AB WHEEL feels "heavy duty" and constructed with quality. The bar has a great grip and the wheel turns very smoothly. The unique aspect of this tool is the shape of the handles. The "bull horn" shape of the handles makes it unique to the user because ab roll-outs can be performed with the wrists in a neutral position. "The Extreme Ab and Arm wheel has been an excellent addition to our facility. The George Washington University Strength and Conditioning facilities accommodate 440 plus athletes and 23 sport teams. "Ken just writing to tell you how challenging your product the Xtreme Ab and Arm wheel is. This product takes the AB wheel of old to a whole new level. We recently had a pro boxer at the gym and as you know these guys can really work the Ab wheel. Well as other fighters looked on they too had to take the challenge and try the Xtreme Ab wheel for themselves. Well the general consensus was "Great" where can I get it ?

The horns as I call them are great for beginners and can be used as training wheels for stopping or gaining control on the way down to a horizontal plank position. For the more advanced the horns could be held "Take the bull by the horns" and relives the elbows a bit and brings the arms in closer to the body for a stronger base.

I personally believe this is the best abdominal exercise wheel ever made. The components are very tough and I believe I will have mine in use for ever.

"I’ve used quite a few different ab rollouts devices over my years of training however, the Extreme Ab & Arm Wheel from Ken Frederick is one of the most versatile and effective ones I’ve ever used. Here are several of my athletes and clients including Austin Meadows, Leslie Petch, Matt Jordan, Jarius Wynn, and Ben Lai and clients demonstrating different progressions. Besides crushing the core and targeting the entire musculature of the abdominals the unique design and mechanics make it quite taxing on the upper body including the chest, triceps, lats, shoulders and more. It’s also incredibly adaptable and versatile and can be modified for a number of fitness and strength levels. In addition, the neutral grip position makes it much more shoulder friendly as it allows more natural centration and packing of the glenohumeral joint in comparison to ab wheels that use a pronated overhand grip.

The most basic variation where the athletes kneels on the ground and keeps the handle tips facing away from them is a movement that most intermediate trainees will be capable of (although advanced athletes will still feel it). Flipping the ab roller so that the tips are facing towards you (as well as progressing to the feet) makes the movement exponentially more challenging giving even my strongest pro athletes and bodybuilders a run for their money. In this video I have several of my pro athletes and clients demonstrating the different variations starting with more basic movements and progressing to more advanced ones. If you’re looking for a simple and economic piece of training equipment that provides incredible bang for your buck, you can’t go wrong with the Extreme Ab and Arm Wheel."
